i have checked online and UL check through luggage on 2 separate PNRs provided they have interline agreement with that airlines. Surprisingly though, despite being in the same alliance, I couldn’t find BA on the list of airlines with interline agreement!
They have a baggage agreement. Whatever you're looking most have accidentally left it out.
