I've had a similar issue with Google flights stating a certain pice, AF website offers the same price, but when clicking the button to go to the payment page, price spikes up with a couple of hundred euro's. Called the Platinum line and they said the websites availability and pricing synchronization is not real time, so it could be that advertised prices are not available anymore.
Not sure if you can believe this though
