Flying AF Metal on a Delta flight number: Are miles rev based, or mileage based?
Hi folks,
when flying delta metal, AF calculates the number of award miles as a multiplier (based on fare class) on the actual mileage flown. Like in the good old days.
But does anybody knows what happens if you purchased and fly a DL flight number that's actually Air France metal, and accrue on Flying Blue?
Does AF recognize its own metal and calculates award miles based on revenue, even though you have a DL flight number? Or does AF treat this AF metal flight like it were a 'real' DL flight, with award miles calculated based on your fare class and actual mileage flown?
