Pilotax. I am UK based too, and for years used Tumi roll-on bags. I recently acquired a Red Oxx Air Boss, Sky Train and Mini-Boss (and paid importation costs/duty etc). I too was a fan of leather bags, but found that they were heavy and scraped easily. I have become fully converted to Red Oxx bags, and recently took all three on an extended holiday and safari in South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. They were absolutely superb - fitted in even the smallest 4-seater planes and are indestructible . I also use them for business travel to the US, Europe and Asia. I find the Air Boss the most versatile, but the sky Train is more compact for shorter trips. Really encourage you to take a look at them - and the customer service from Red Oxx is beyond wonderful
