I have been trying to create an Iberia Plus account for 2 days, in order to book an award trip. The registration page has not been working (error: "Oops…A connection error has occurred."). Not sure what my options are, and I'm afraid I'll lose the seat. However, when speaking to an Iberia Plus CSR, I'm also told that you can't transfer miles for 3 months after creating a new account. I had heard this is true for transferring BA Avios, but is it also true for Membership Rewards and Chase? Also, I've seen that transfers take 48 hours. Is this true? If so, will a CSR hold an award reservation?
