The HNL club was due for a refresh this year- I think it was even mentioned in upcoming United Club enhancements type marketing materials back in 2016 - but it is now postponed indefinitely due to focusing all available resources on Polaris lounges.
The HNL club is a dreary disappointment made more so by the long trudge to get there. If your pass is about to expire then OK. Otherwise save it for another club. ANY other.
