Help with change fees
I booked two biz class tickets (I fare, US point of sale) GOT-LHR-HKG-AKL and return a few days ago. Now the wife has changed her mind and wants to go to the south island, so I'm hoping to change our destination from AKL to CHC. The current GOT-CHC fare on the CX website is almost exactly the same as my original GOT-AKL fare.
When I booked the tickets it noted a 250 Euro change fee and I'm fine with that. How is the change fee calculated for a change in destination with 2 pax on one PNR? Is it 250 for each Pax? 250 to change the entire PNR? 250 to change the outbound plus 250 to change the return? I'm thinking I might change only the outbound CX flights and just hop a O/W CHC-AKL on NZ to catch the originally booked return flights.
