Anyway, if anyone could recommend a property based on these criteria (listed in order of importance), I'd really appreciate it!
1) The ability to stay indoors in case the pollution is really bad. I hope that I won't have to avail myself of this option, but I'd like to be able to from the hotel to malls and restaurants without having to go outdoors, similar to what you can do in Hong Kong.
2) Convenience to the LGBT nightlife near Jiaotong University station. I realize that I'd have to take a cab back at night, but this shouldn't be a big deal with no traffic.
3) A good free breakfast and lounge for platinum members
4) Convenience to major sites/attractions
Right now, I'm leaning towards the JW Marriott Tomorrow Square. It looks like there is direct metro access without going outdoors and a good breakfast. Can anyone confirm this, especially the metro access?
