Lunch:
  • chocolate mousse cake
  • sliced pickled vegetables (carrots?)
  • apple puree
  • bread with butter
  • mains: rice with assorted vegetables (diced green beans, corn, carrot, bell pepper), pan-fried fish with a sauce with chicken pea


Breakfast:
  • croissant, bread roll, butter, strawberry jam
  • apple puree
  • cup pf sealed orange juice
  • mains: scrambled egg, broccoli, baked beans in tomato sauce

Comment:
Another meh meal from Langerhuize. For the lunch, the pickled sliced vegetables is a rather cheap way to offer an appetizer. The fish main with chicken peas was borderline tasteless, but the salt and pepper pack saved the day. Fish was tender though. Chocolate mousse cake was fairly ok. They cut the chocolate praline (see last example here.

For the breakfast, croissant and bread roll were fresh. But the mains still represented the worst of Langerhuize quality: tasteless beans (how could baked beans in tomato sauce be tasteless????), flaky, fragmented scrambled egg. The only saving grace was the colour of the broccoli, cup of sealed orange juice and the salt and pepper pack.
