BTW, AFAIK most or all DL airport kiosks and agents don't currently have the ability to print in color. It would be an added cost.
They can name by the colors just as they name them by whatever now. Actually printing in the color would be nice, but not needed.
It would also help if whatever they name the zones by, they show the current boarding zone at all times on the GIDs.
