As far as this thread is concerned, I have witnessed a blatant disregard for the closed "curtain" between first and the rest of the cabin. I have seen it from both sides of the curtain and it is a sad reminder that some people have no civility. I am not just talking about sneaking by it, but literally flinging it up in the air as they make their entrance. How extremely rude and disrespectful to the FA and those of us respecting societal norms. People like this are the reason the FA make so called "elitist" announcements, and draw a hard line.

If people could be courteous and respectful, it would be easier for FA to make exceptions using common sense.

This whole thread is yet another example of why we can't have nice things.
