I don't think this is right. The rules state that access to a Polaris is granted if you have "A boarding pass for travel in United Polaris business class" and that "[c]ustomers in United Polaris business class may access a United Polaris lounge at departure, connecting and arrival airports along their eligible same-day routing." No mention of ticketing carrier vs operating.
