According to my spreadsheet it's been 1.74 years since I last cancelled my Barclays Arrival Plus card. Would it be safe to apply now for another or should I wait 2 years? I pulled the trigger anyway and the app went pending. I'll report my results when I learn more. Doesn't look good. I used the online app status check link (

" Currently we are unable to offer you a credit card issued by Barclays Bank Delaware. Details on why we could not make you a credit offer will be mailed to you."
If Barclays is now 5/24 as some claim, that would explain things.
