Cannot use LCA points to pay for Red Hot Room?

Hi all,

I was trying to book two nights at the Novotel Clark Quay at the Red Hot Room rate (quite a good rate actually) for SGD$254, but the check out page doesn't have the option for me to pay using points. I have more than 6000 points, so I can redeem around SGD$185, which means that I would still have a small portion to pay with cash.

I tried booking another, higher rate, and there I can use my points. Does Accor not let us use our points for certain rates? I checked the T&C but couldn't find any info.
