BA use different aircraft every day on each route. It depends when you're flying but, at the moment, BA289 is done by one of the mid-J 747s and none of them are getting wifi fitted. This will change as the 747s retire and A350s come in but that won't be for months or, depending on how they do it, years on some routes.
