The fare, if it still exists, was about 1350 GBP for DME-LHR-HKG-NRT on CX.
The fare still exists, sadly it’s no longer anywhere near that attractive price - £1,600 - £1,800 is the going rate these days and positioning to DME can’t be done on a BA b2b service without a visa. You’d need to transit from somewhere else to enable you catch the DME-LHR sector without a visa which adds annoying complexity to the deal.
