How much flexibility is there on a schedule change? I'm debating whether to accept or decline the change and call in for options.

I have RAK-ZRH-YYZ coming up booked through Swiss. RAK-ZRH on Edelweiss metal has changed from 14:20 to 10:30 departure. Is it reasonable to leverage the schedule change to rebook different routing even though my original ZRH-YYZ flight on AC isn't affected?
