As somebody who flies a decent mix of front and back, I would rather have a decent lounge all the time than a great lounge when up front and a dump when not. The lounge is actually more important to me when in the back as I will not be able to relax and eat/drink as well as I can in D1.
If DL were to create a D1 lounge, you could bet that the main lounge will start dropping.
