I really wouldn't count on Vietnamese laws being more consumer friendly than the USA's. Even assuming the regulations/laws are on our side, I would expect CX to put up a fight, and fighting back in a Vietnamese court, especially if you're not Vietnamese, may not be easy or cheap.
