Has anyone thought about contacting Toast or Square to let them know?
Yes, I know it is probably AmEx's problem, but I am trying to see how to get the problem solved.
I get as bummed as anyone when items don't categorize properly (don't even get me started on things like bn.com not classifying as a bookstore for V/MC).
I know that it many cases (just like in the grocery category), there is some behind the scenes filtering maybe based on the actual MCC used. I don't know if AmEx will get someone to tackle the issue across the board.
