Assuming you want door to door first class service I’d suggest you start backing into the places that you can you can reasonably get to with your airline points. Quite a few places that folks will suggest will be in places that aren’t served with any first class cabin or a domestic (garbage) one. If you don’t care about that the Ritz Grand Cayman sounds like it might be a good fit your you. Also remember that it’s going to be near impossible to get that penthouse suite on points alone. Example, for my upcoming stay at Edition Miami, the only way to get an ocean view room is 60,000 points PLUS $239 (plus resort fees, tax, etc) which is absurd because the cash difference if I booked ocean view vs city is only $50.
