Aquarium sounds like a good bet, as is the High Museum. You can get to both direct from MARTA. I doubt you have enough time for 2 different things, though. Your 7 hours will pass in no time.
Don't be afraid of taking MARTA. It'll be fine. And the station is right there at the main terminal--no L-O-N-G walks.
