St. R is ok, I like the pool. I have only poked around the W, I did not like the pool area at all and I do not think it is a luxury hotel compared to what is offered at the RC in terms of room furnishing or other physical property aspects. The RC is a resort style luxury hotel in Doha and the W tries hard to pretend it is in hip (according to millennials) LA (I know, I know thats the brand but just not my preference).
