They warned me that if I switch my New TP, I would not be able to convert it to points in the future. That was when I call the US Line and they did not give me the option to upgrade it, just to exchange it for the new ones. I told that agent that I would never win, only Marriott, as if I convert it to the NC5 and I didn t find a hotel I want on that category, I would be stuck with it, so I told her not to touch. Of course HUCA.
Later they attached it to my reservation while exchanging it. I guess they saw me wanting it to be used and not just extended, LOL. I ended up not being charged the extra 30,000 I was supposed to add for a OC8 -- NC6.
