This is relatively ongoing with them. I had a reservation in Abu Dhabi for Grand Prix weekend in November, arrived at my hotel to be told it was canceled. The hotel offered to rebook me -- at 3x the cost of the original reservation, which I'd made months ago. Thank goodness I had some extra Hyatt points lying around to use. Everywhere in the city was seriously marked up.
I pursued a refund through my credit card company and it was processed immediately. Good luck.
