An update on my trip. No amenity kits on the seats in economy for my overnight flight (VS4). I didn't bother to ask a FA for one since I had the essentials in my carry on.
Economy Delight tasted like garden variety VS economy, except that I was able to pre select a bulk head seat. There was easily 3' of space between the seat and the wall, more than enough room for me to stretch my legs out without touching anything. That part in and of itself was delightful.
The FA did come welcome me on board (I'm VS gold) and ask if I was OK with not having a seat back entertainment system in front of me. She said that I could move to a seat farther back if I preferred having the seat back entertainment but I declined. Ah Virgin, always trying to move me to the back of the plane
