It seems to me services like this have no point other than to give the users an inflated sense of importance and to try to prove to people around them that they are more valuable to the world.
Exactly true...I mean 3 grand US dollars or over 4 grand Canadian to sit in a lounge with "free" miniature bottles of booze and some snacks in what looks like a fridge at the most budget of hotels.
Oh, and some "free" snacks like potato chips, trident gum and such and maybe a sleep mask.
On another thread here there's been talk about whether AE selling miles at 1.5 cents a mile plus HST is a good value or not. For the same amount as one visit to this facility you could buy enough Aeroplan miles to fly Transpacific to Asia and back in first class.
Hmm..which would I choose?
