I'm brainstorming reasons the FA might have behaved that way. I asked if it was a possibility that it appeared that way to the FA, since appearing intoxicated is like one of three reasons an FA would legitimately not serve someone liquor (the others being: out of liquor, or person is under 21). So it seemed reasonable to raise it as a possibility. Also appearing intoxicated to the FA is obviously different than actually being intoxicated. Could have just had the hiccups, or have been seated next to an intoxicated person, or spilled beer on your carry-on (I have done this), or any other number of reasons. Sorry that you were insulted.
