100 times this. My mother found the idea of needing a wheelchair really overwhelming the first time, but when she saw how easy it made things, she was sold. Just be sure they know (how much) to tip the folx pushing the chairs. They should get met right off the plane at SFO and be escorted through customs and immigration, saving significant time waiting in line (unless they have Global Entry).
