It's nice that you get redeemable points as well -- the legacy buy-up offers don't IME get you the miles.
The one silly part is the 12/31 deadline -- given that JetBlue flights often take 2 weeks to credit, you couldn't use this to make up an unexpected shortfall after holiday travel. They're walking away from some cash, there.
