Flying SFO-TPE today on a W date. Upgrade is waitlisted and unlikely to clear. Within the last few days, UA was willing to sell the Polaris upgrade for $1,100 and last night it went up to $1,800. Didn’t bite. I’ve got an aisle seat in the new PEY cabin, so I guess that and food from the lounges will somewhat makeup for not clearing.
