Cool Summer trip to China - airlines?

OK so we're taking our two kids to China in early June (June 9 to the 22nd) for a heritage trip. We're flying out of Atlanta and going to Beijing so we have some decent options. We don't travel often and unfortunately don't have frequent flyer miles to help with cost. I found flights today that are $850 RT per person on Air Canada economy that came to $3400 for the four of us. The times are good and the connections are only two hours each way. I was hoping fares would go down on Delta a bit for premium economy so we could travel in a bit more comfort but unfortunately it looks like it went up a bit in the last week and is about $3,000 higher total than Air Canada.

For those who make this trip often would you recommend sucking it up in Air Canada economy or wait a bit and hope Delta comes down some? Air Canada premium economy is just as high as Delta's right now. I'm just not sure that much of difference cost-wise is worth it for premium economy. Thoughts?
