Checked JAL and it looks like best case is 160k miles, if I have to add a hawaii-japan to a japan-europe. Or is there a separate chart for Hawaii to Europe? I could conceivably make one stop, going KOA-NRT-FRA. But that's not really worth 50k over a 110k AA Anytime award with 2 stops through the US.
** Now I found another chart so I think the first one was for standard awards. Looking at the chart by miles, it looks like only 85,000 miles if I could find saver availability (<10000 miles). Is that right? What website would be best for searching for these? I do understand that JAL has to be RT which I would prefer it not be, but it could work out in some situations.
