What about QF buying a stake in NZ followed by SQ buying BA's 22.3% stake in QF and QF jumping ships from OW to *?
People said that the AN fleet mix killed them - have a look at the QF one as it will stand at the end of the year. BAe146 717 733 734 738 762PW 763GE 767RR 743 744RR 744GE 332 332 not to mention the oddballs like NLH. Surely now is the time to move in with a lean mean fighting machine - just when the opposition is at its biggest and most cumbersome. Not to mention the problems QF now has with the unions... they cant even get the unions to accept a wage freeze - just imagine what will happen when they try and cut wages.
I'd like to see nothing more than a reincarnated AN to emerge ... god have mercy on my credit card balance but I would absolutely cherish the day they get up in the air.
