It's a soft-sided 24-inch that I check, not carry-on. It seems wasteful to buy a whole new piece of luggage if this one could still work, but I did see a hard-sided 24" for $60 online that seems to get decent reviews. I could try it... I just hate buying unnecessary things I don't need!
