The systemwide $60 RT surcharge is a bold move. I’m sure I’m not in the only market where AS fares are often on the high side already vs OAL. It’s been harder and harder to fly AS on work trips, even after eliminating OAL BE fares from consideration. An across the board effective price increase will push the scales further in that direction.
