Well, this is so dumb!
AN had a chance to revamp QF style, yet they've gone the wrong way with this.
Also, as Justin said I don't care about my points, but want AN to survive - sadly this will ensure it dies a 2nd death.
I'm very disappointed in this. You'd think they'd *try* and match QF, or come close, or even have a mileage based system, or minimum points or something... And yes, I know they want to fund the program, but giving us back the joining fee? gee, thanks for nothing.
Looks like I'll be plugging my UA number in for any future flights (when that is allowed).
