My parents are flying into SIN from SFO in May on a separately ticketed flight and need to catch another flight from SIN to Phuket. Does anyone know if 1hr 40min is enough for them to get their luggage and catch their next flight if they land at 6:50pm and their next flight is at 8:30pm? They booked it separately because the SFO-SIN was using points. I think they will have priority luggage checkins.

I think this depends on a number of things such as what airline as they flying to SIN, and if the flight is a connection or a separate ticket
Either way, I think 1hr 40mins is probably too short if you want to build in a buffer.
