Suggestion: change the Avis forum to the Avis/Budget forum [Done]
I suggest that the FT Avis forum be changed to the Avis/Budget forum. Avis and Budget are owned by the same parent company, and in many -- though not all -- locations, Avis and Budget share a rental counter and a pool of cars. Both companies have some similar promotions ($9.99 one--ways between some airports and city centers), and coupons (third weekend day free, $10 off $100, $15 off $125, etc.)
When the dedicated Budget forum was closed, discussion of Budget promotions, coupons, etc., was relegated to the general "Rental Car Discussion" forum. I think that it makes more sense for discussion of Avis and Budget matters to be discussed in a single forum.
