I think that is an unreasonable suggestion - crew are busy enough at meal time, without expecting them to serve a Y meal if you are seated somewhere else. And it would not be a good look for a passenger to carry their own meal through that cabins.
J pax have paid a lot of money to not be disturbed by non-J passengers.
