After checking out I noticed that my nightly room charge, daily resort fee, and restaurant charges (charged to the room) earned me enough Identity points which shows that I now have a free complimentary night. Though, five plus days later and no Marriott points have hit my account. Guessing they are just delayed.
As far as I know you can’t double dip. It’s one or the other.
However, I think you only earn MR points on the room rate and in room dining.
I take all my other dining receipts to Identity desk and have them add points or give it to restaurants when signing the check.
