I booked an AAVacation earlier this month (Oct 2018). I called in to use AA gift cards. Reservations lady said she didn’t think she could accept them. She put me on hold for about a minute and came back and confirmed that they don’t accept AA gift cards “anymore”. Not sure how long that’s been the case.
