Hi,
I have flight from PDX > Amsterdam > Mumbai > GOI. Its all booked in a single itinerary. Flying Delta from PDX to amsterdam and rest all the legs are on Jet Airways.
I reach Mumbai at 12:45 AM and my flight to Goa is at 11:00 AM. I have Priority pass and I want to know what options do I have based on the following situation.
I want to rest and then take a shower at one of the lounge and then clear customs and drop my bags at the transfer desk. I then want to get out of the airport for few hours and I will come back to take my domestic flight from Mumbai to GOA which is at 11.00 am. I will make sure I am at the airport by 8 a.m.
Do you think the above situation will work if not can you tell me how can I drop my check in bags and get out of the airport(other than taking a hotel) as I don't want to carry such big bags with me outside the airport. I need to take a shower which is absolutely required.
Any suggestions will be helpful.

Not sure what you can do in the city from say 1 AM to 8 AM ? If this is your first time to city
then it is not safe to roam around at night without any trusted escort. Nothing will be open
unless you are looking to meet someone you know.
Your luggage will be transferred to your GOI flight so you will have hand luggage only. If I were
you, I would just stay at the BOM transit hotel (Niranta) until the AM and catch the GOI flight.
Alternately I think there is an earlier GOI flight as well (around 2:30 AM). You can take that
and reach GOI to relax in your final destination. This will mean no transit hotel needed. You
can go to the Priority pass lounge in the departures area. I do not know if they have showers
but I doubt it....Good Luck !
