This week I had assigned seating on the 2:50pm (and then switched to the 1:40pm) Tuesday Acela from WAS to NYP. And honestly, it felt like a clusterf*ck as people didn't realize there were assigned seats, leading to many people asking others to get up and people claiming that they got the seat first, unaware it was reserved.

While I like the convenience and get why this is happening, the rollout hasn't been executed well. I also would love to be able to preview a seat map before buying or switching trains, but that doesn't appear to be an option
