Two very different properties. The Surfcomber is very old school Miami Beach (and is on the beach) with smallish rooms. The Angler's is at the bottom of South Beach about four blocks from the beach and on a busy street with some road noise. There's a mix of interesting rooms there (I stayed in a two-story villa with a private hot tub).
FYI for anyone reading this thread; there's no longer a Kimpton Vero Beach property.
