Interestingly, that page does not list international flights to Pacific Islands. It's a bit moot as AA does not fly to any.
The member is one world Sapphire, derived from his lifetime AA AAdvantage Platinum status. Therefore, no MIA Access.

MIA-LAX is not qualifying.
AA operated by TN is not qualifying.
