its not relevant who you fly with. What is relevant is where you arrive from and where you are flying to.

If you are arriving from county A and going to country C then TWOV may apply. If you are arriving from country A and heading backmto the same then this isn’t deemed a transit and TWOV may not apply so you might need a visa otherwise you will be denied boarding.
