A family member just was approved for this card and received it. He activated it, then tried to add it to his existing AMEX online account, only to get a message that this card can't be added to that account. The existing account has Plat, Hilton free card, and Old Blue Cash. He doesn't want to create a second login for this card. I have personally seen the message that I couldn't add it to my account after approval, but as soon as I received the card, I was able to add it. But in this case, the card is in hand. What can be done here?
