Yes and if it is the case the separate non-schengen->non-schengen transfer channel is no longer available this is what would make a b2b much more risky due to having to go through arrival and departing immigration desks along with all the passengers from all these other flights.

If the separate non-schengen->non-schengen transfer channel is still available then it is much less of an issue as you do not go through immigration.
