I tried to used my Marriott free night and I had thought that it could be used for stays in categories 1-5. So that is how I search for available rooms. The AF posted on 9/1 for my biz card, but the certificate was issued as a 25k cert on 8/31 even though the changeover to the premier benefits was 8/26. Currently have an open inquiry on the Chase side pending review about this.
